OK Daddy, that’s enough sleeping with me

I started this thing a couple of months ago where I take turns lying with the kids when they go to bed. I didn’t think it was fair that I sat outside of Jack’s room every single night and they like it when I lay with them from time-to-time and I enjoy cuddling with them too, and I wanted to teach them that they have to share and wait for their turn, so this seemed like a good plan. I think it’s working out pretty good too. But Abby cracks me up! Jack and Ally love to cuddle with me and they fall asleep within 10-20 minutes and would love it if they woke up in the morning and I was still there. But Abby is completely different. She does love to cuddle and probably gets the most excited when it’s her turn, but she lays there and talks or sings the whole time. She never falls asleep. And after about 10 min, she turns to me and whispers, “Ok Daddy, that’s enough sleeping with me”! The first time she did it, I wasn’t sure what she meant, so I asked her and she just kept saying that over-and-over. She’s dead-serious too. She wants me out of her bed ASAP! I thought maybe the first time I fell asleep and started snoring and that freaked her out, but now it’s almost a game to me. I purposefully stay awake and wait for her to kick me out so I can beg and beg her to stay just a few more minutes. Every night when it’s her turn, I ask her if I can sleep with her for a “long day” and she always says “yes”, but every night, after about 10-15 minutes, she tells me it’s time to leave. I have no idea what’s going through her mind, but it cracks me up and I love her very much.
